Lawn Mower Man

My faith in the recovery was challenged this evening. Not that I have been anything but a doubting Thomas for some time now, but what little grudging acceptance that I had begun to have that things might indeed be getting better was dealt a blow.

I was standing in line at a local taco shop and heard an odd noise behind me. I looked over my shoulder and saw a man push a lawnmower up to the front door. He asked if any one wanted to buy an almost new lawnmower for $50. Nobody was looking for a lawnmower at the time and so the lawnmower salesman moved on. Consider me disheartened.
